Chairman and Founder of Chenco Holding Company, which consists of several
commonly-held real estate investment companies in the United States and Asia. Principal
among these companies is The Bascom Group, a private equity firm specializing in
value-added multifamily real estate opportunities whose portfolio includes over 43,000
apartment units throughout the U.S.
Most recently, Mr. Seebeck was the Senior Vice President of Operations for LandTek, one of
the largest land development firms in the southwestern United States. LandTek is the
development arm of the Focus Management Group. During his tenure, Mr. Seebeck was
responsible for all aspects of design, contracting, construction, and for merchant builder
relationship management for multiple residential master-planned communities in Las Vegas
and Southern California. Over the course of his 19-year career in development, Mr. Seebeck
has been involved in construction facets of almost every type and description, including
master-planned residential communities, industrial parks, office and retail centers,
detached homes, condominiums, and apartment complexes. These experiences extend
across a number of states and have included some of the most sophisticated investors,
owners, and regulating agencies that operate in each of those regions.
Formerly a real estate attorney, Mr. Liao began real estate development in 1994, acquiring
more than 150 assets from the Resolution Trust Corporation (“RTC”) and built more than
3,000 homes. Thereafter, Mr. Liao continued to lead Chenco and other affiliate investment
groups to acquire, entitle, manage, and dispose of residential land assets in Southern
California, including several master-planned communities.
Most recently, Mr. Hsia was an Area Vice President of Strategic Marketing for Pulte Homes,
one of the largest public homebuilding companies in the United States. In this capacity, he
was responsible for determining asset allocation, land acquisition, and marketing
positioning strategies. Prior to joining Pulte Homes, Mr. Hsia was a Senior Consultant for
Robert Charles Lesser & Co., one of the leading real estate development consulting firms in
the U.S. During this period, Mr. Hsia consulted to some of the largest homebuilding and real
estate development companies in Las Vegas, including The Howard Hughes Corporation,
American Nevada Company, and The Focus Property Group.
Most recently, Mr. Tan was the Controller the North Los Angeles/Ventura County Division of
Pulte Homes. In this capacity, he was responsible for managing land acquisition and
feasibility studies, capital allocations, SEC corporate financial reporting requirements, cost
of sales, and overhead budgeting. Prior to joining Pulte Homes, Mr. Tan was a financial
statement auditor at Ernst & Young, specializing in publicly traded homebuilding companies.
